ai-poster

Drop an image. We post it.

ai-poster watches a folder in your Google Drive. When a new image lands, an LLM writes a caption and the post goes live on Facebook, Instagram, and Threads.

1

Connect your accounts

Sign in with Google for Drive access. Connect Facebook, Instagram, or Threads — pick which Pages or profiles can publish.

2

Pick a folder

Add a watch on any Drive folder. Choose which social accounts it posts to and tweak the caption prompt.

3

Drop images

Upload an image — the system spots it, generates a caption, and publishes everywhere you've enabled. No babysitting.

Why ai-poster needs Google data

ai-poster connects to your Google account so it can monitor a Drive folder for newly added images and download those images so it can publish them to your social accounts. Concretely we request the following scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.readonlyread-only access to your Drive files. We list the folders you choose to watch and download the image bytes of files in those folders so we can attach them to a generated post. We never modify, move, or delete anything in your Drive.
  • openid, email, profile — so we can identify which Google account is connected and show it on the Drive accounts page.

You can revoke ai-poster's access at any time from your Google account's connected apps page, or from the Drive accounts page inside ai-poster after signing in. See the Privacy Policy for what we store and how long we keep it.
